The University of Chicago lupus center is comprised of a dedicated team of experts focused on providing care specifically for lupus patients. Our group of physicians are committed to providing you with a comprehensive care plan including, but not limited to, diagnosis, longitudinal monitoring, and treatment. In addition to our specialist in the section of rheumatology, we have a dedicated team of other physicians in dermatology, nephrology, and cardiology who are also interested in providing high quality, multidisciplinary care for our lupus patients.

In addition to clinical care, we are also strongly committed to advancing the field of lupus through scientific discovery. We have a number of ongoing clinical trials available for our patients. Furthermore, we work closely with the geneticists and research scientists at The Gwen Knapp Center for Lupus and Immunology Research, a leading lupus and immunology research program focused on integrating basic science, translational and clinical research.
